Your Invitation to Participate in our 46th Annual Texas AEYC First Ever Project Galleria
The Texas Association for the Education of Young Children is pleased to announce The 46th Annual Conference will be held September 30 – October 2, 2010 in Austin, Texas, at the Radisson Hotel & Austin Convention Center.
For the first time, TAEYC will have a Project Galleria where programs / students / individuals will have the opportunity to display and highlight special projects that they have worked on this past year.
What is the Project Galleria?
The Annual Conference is a project of the Texas Association for the Education of Young Children. Founded in 1966, the mission of TAEYC is to provide opportunities for professional development and to broaden public awareness on early care and education issues. TAEYC is affiliated with the Southern Early Childhood Association and eighteen local affiliate groups located across Texas. This conference is one of several of our program efforts to address the goals of our organization and provides up-to-date training opportunities for Early Care and Education Professionals across all sectors, to include Head Start, childcare, Pre-K, and after school providers.
The Project Galleria is modeled after the NAEYC research poster session, which is designed to highlight special projects that have been done by programs / individuals / students who are willing to share their ideas with the conference participants. Some examples of projects of interest for the Galleria:
- Student Research / Thesis / Dissertation information
- Special Projects done with children (gardens, room arrangements, etc…)
- Initiatives that benefit many programs (ARRA funds projects, Taking Charge of Change: Austin, etc…)
The galleria is designed to display work done by those in the field. It is NOT designed to sell products or services.
If you have a product or service to sell, please see our exhibitor information at http://www.texasaeyc.org/conference/exhibitors/
