 The President’s Trust Fund

The purpose of the Texas Association for the Education of Young Children is to celebrate, educate and advocate for children, families and the early childhood profession.  In keeping with this philosophy, the President’s Trust Fund supports educational opportunities for Texas AEYC members currently involved in the enrichment of the lives of young children.  A monetary grant of $500 may be used by the recipient to cover expenses incurred for professional and leadership development in the field of early childhood.

We also excited to announce a new scholarship that will focus on supporting children with challenging behaviors or mental health special needs (i.e., ADHD, autism, sensory processing disorder).  In addition to early childhood professionals, this award is open to parents/guardians of young children who exhibit these challenges, who need not be current members of TXAEYC.  In order to be eligible for either scholarship, educators must be a current member of  TXAEYC and agree to using the scholarship award to continue their professional development in the field of early childhood education.

Applications for the President's Trust Fund open each fall.
