Earn six hours of training as you visit three NAEYC Accredited early childhood education programs to tour classrooms and discuss challenges and successes on their journeys to accreditation. Lunch provided. Also includes wrap-up session upon return to Conference venue.

Train the Trainer for Beginners with Sue Hancock and Marlyn Kramer: Beginning the Journey

For beginning trainers, let’s gather basic information on TECPDS, NAEYC, licensing, writing learning objectives and preparing instructional plans to help participants move through their journey as a Trainer. There will be interactive review of developing learning objectives and how training content should relate. Participants will discover various ways to present activities and share information.
Train the Trainer for Intermediate/ Advanced with Sue Hancock and Marlyn Kramer: The Journey Continues!
1:00 pm- 5:15 pm; $25.00
For Intermediate/Advanced participants, we’ll embark on the adventure into incorporating relevant adult learning principles and how a trainer can add additional strategies in their design and delivery of training content. This session will enable the trainer to explore methodologies, information and activities to effectively share with their participants. Trainers will observe and engage in various training presentation skills that are designed to engage learners to make their individual trainings more enjoyable, interesting and the content memorable.
