Audrey Rowland


Audrey Rowland has over 20 years of experience as an early childhood professional. Drawing from her expertise as a teacher and administrator, Audrey creates resources and provides professional development for early educators, administrators, parents, and policy-makers. She founded Green Space Learning, providing early childhood professional development for educators and creating play-based indoor and outdoor learning environments for early childhood programs. An engaging speaker and trainer, Audrey translates information into application. She served on the TXAEYC Board of Directors from 2015-2018 and as president of the Fort Worth TXAEYC Chapter. Audrey earned a MS from the University of North Texas in Child Development and Family Studies and a MBA from Texas Woman’s University. She is a Master Trainer with the Texas Early Childhood Professional Development System (#1743).

Sonja Ezell

 

Sonja Ezell is a teacher educator, supervisor, and mentor at the University of Texas at Arlington. Dr. Ezell, an ILA member, began her career as an elementary school teacher in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex and she is a former K-3 reading coach. She has presented at numerous international, state, and local literacy conferences and she has served as a member of the International Literacy Association’s Children’s Book Award Committee. Dr. Sonja Ezell focuses on practice and research related to literacy development and instruction of early childhood and elementary-age children from diverse backgrounds.

Delilah Gonzales


Dr. Delilah Gonzales holds a Doctor of Education from the University of Memphis in Curriculum and Instruction Leadership with a concentration in Literacy. She also has a Master’s of Science in Curriculum and Instruction Leadership with a concentration in Early Childhood Education from the University of Memphis. Her undergraduate degree is in Elementary/Early Childhood Education from the University of Tennessee at Martin.

Dr. Gonzales has worked in education for over thirty-one years in different areas, including as an elementary teacher, an elementary principal, a college professor, and an educational consultant.

 

Barbara Stegmiller

Barbara Stegmiller attended El Paso Community College where she received her Associates in Early Childhood Education and then attended the University of Texas in El Paso where she majored in Multidisciplinary Studies with the concentration in EC-5th courses. She then took a hiatus in her studies to focus on family with only a few hours shy of her Masters in Reading and Literacy. She continues to further her educational experiences by attending conferences, lectures, and seminars in all areas of studies. This allows her to stay up to date with advocacy, research, instruction, pedagogy, and professionalism in the field of early childhood education.
