We are excited to offer a variety of membership options to serve the early childhood community! 

Membership in the Texas Association for the Education of Young Children (TXAEYC) is provided through our national or regional organizations and is open to any interested individual. TXAEYC is a proud affiliate of the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), the Southern Early Childhood Association (SECA), and the Associate Degree Early Childhood Educators Association (ACCESS), providing a variety of membership categories
and benefits to support your professional journey.

Membership levels that qualify for TXAEYC Annual Conference discounts are marked with a star (*).

NAEYC Membership

The National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) is the premier membership association for early learning professionals. Whether you're a teacher, assistant teacher, program director, high ed faculty, student, family member, researcher, policymaker, administrator, or somewhere in between, NAEYC is here to help you on the journey to improve educational opportunities for all young children.

NAEYC offers four membership levels:

  • Entry (Digital) Level ($30/year): Entry Level membership provides digital access to NAEYC and its diverse collection of professional resources.
  • Standard Level* ($69/year): NAEYC Standard membership ensures you're fully equipped as a professional, with the latest resources, events, research, discounts, and more.
  • Premium Level* ($150/year): NAEYC Premium membership provides unparalleled access to NAEYC's robust suite of member benefits.
  • Family Level ($35/year): This is an exciting membership option designed for members outside of the early learning profession, including parents, family members, and others.

SECA Membership

The Southern Early Childhood Association (SECA) is committed to Southern issues and improving the quality of care and education for young children with their families through advocacy and professional development. Thousands of individuals working in every aspect of child care and early childhood belong to SECA.

SECA offers the following membership options:

  • Standard Membership* ($34/year)
  • Student Membership ($25/year)
  • Dual Affiliate Membership ($26/year): For NAEYC members who also wish to join SECA.

ACCESS Membership

The Associate Degree Early Childhood Teacher Educators Association (ACCESS) supports and advocates for associate degree programs in the preparation of early childhood professionals who teach and care for young children form birth through age 8 across a variety of programs; and the instructors who teach in those programs.

ACCESS membership is available in the following categories:

  • Faculty Members ($60/year)
  • Adjunct Faculty ($30/year)
  • Retired Faculty ($30/year)
