We also excited to announce a new scholarship that will be awarded this year. The additional scholarship will focus on supporting children with challenging behaviors or mental health special needs (i.e., ADHD, autism, sensory processing disorder). In addition to early childhood professionals, this award is open to parents/guardians of young children who exhibit these challenges, who need not be current members of TXAEYC. Current TXAEYC members are encouraged to share information about this award with families.
In order to be eligible for either scholarship, educators must be a current member of TXAEYC and agree to using the scholarship award to continue their professional development in the field of early childhood education.
The winners will be announced in Frisco at the conference during the Presidents Reception on September 27, 2019.
Please complete and submit your application by July 31 August 15, 2019. Completed application forms should be submitted via email to [email protected]
